Paranormal Activity - the movie

So, is anyone going to see "Paranormal Activity" which opens this weekend? It's said to be "this generations 'Exorcist'...and the scariest movie in a long time". I just saw the preview and it looks pretty freaky. DEFINITELY get's me in the Halloween mood!

Are really out there, according to all of the encounters that so many people have told me about over the last 20 years.
Not nearly enough to make a scary movie about. Ghosts get a really bad reputation from such movies and authors ..but someday those ghosts will get revenge!
Watch out then!

One story told to me a few years ago has to be a favorite of a quirky part of my brain:"A woman college teacher was seeking a supernatural experience. She checked herself into numerous "Haunted" Bed& Breakfasts and was extremely dissappointed..nothing.
Back at her College as she was telling her class this, behind the students was an large open doorway and the dining room where they had all just eaten lunch and some plates began to levitate, eventually flying through the air and breaking..sort of disrupting her class.......
I think this happened in Texas.
Do they have them in Texas?
Breakable plates?
I hope so. Styrofoam and plastic just don't give it the necesarry drama.

hahaha! Jim, we can always rely on you for a good laugh. I think it's gonna be a pretty cool movie though. I like movies filmed as if they are documenting real events!
