soo now here i am at 10 am in the morning..
        havent been to bed yet..

        early in the evening..
        something big broke..
which has been our theme so far this year..
just a landfall of last minute issues..
        and big ones...

        so anyways..
this item was made for david copperfield
and used parts we didnt have..

made a call to some of the employees of the vendor..
        and after some brainstorming...
one of them drove to the shop..
and welded together a different design...
and drove it to the haunt arriving at 1 am..
and the cutting and welding began..
        it involved alot of work..

but it is ready for the show tonight...
and i am just now finished..

i bet there are few people who know
        what goes into our shows...
and the lengths we go thru

        and guess what???

        its still raining
in order to see the orchestra ...you must turn your back on the crowd...

COME oN! yOU cAN'T fOOL US!

We all know how easy it is, just sit there selling a few tickets and count the money. There's no "work" to this.
This what some barstool Commandos have figured out about my place and haunt.
Of course their favorite remark I love is , "I could have done that!"
Yes, and you could have taken a bath if the straps holding you to the barstool ever rotted off!
Keep that fresh urine flowing, someday you will be free!

What do you have that was made for David, and how did you come about aquiring it? Thats pretty cool. If you want an interesting story, get a copy of the August 2009 Magic Magazine. It is about David's Island that he bought a few years ago, and some of the entertainment options he has on the Island for guests, including the appearing and disapearing outdoor movie theatre, the treasure hunt, and the upcoming hidden world that is inhabited by trained monkeys (not kidding). Its only $37,500 per day for up to 12 people to visit. Check out the website http://www.mushacay.com/. I remember seeing a pic of him wandering around Transworld last year too, maybe he is thinking of a Copperfield Haunted House?

Was going to make the trip over to Columbus from Indy this year to check out the hoochie but a pregnant wife has halted that plan. We will definately be there next year though. The doctor said it was ok, but dont want to take the risk.

I dont know if they told you but me and Linz made it out friday night and got the VIP works tour. She cant stop talking about how awesome everything was. She wants to come out sometime during the day or another time to see it all. (We got behind a large group so she missed alot of the effects). Awesome Job again man! Granny sends her love

                        Hey buddy

I dont think i have your number.

As for the Rain it caused us to close the orchard saturday and not open till 1 on sunday and people were still getting stuck. We are bracing everything down these wind gusts are horrible! We cant afford to lose another tent like we did 2 years ago due to the wind. Oh the cable just went out looks like we are in for a windy day

                            Gotta love the rain!

Ever hear the phrase-"Be careful what you wish for, you might get it."? We have been needing rain in the south, and unfortunately, here in Atlanta we received over 20 inches last week. This would be okay, if we were an indoor event. But when you are doing an outdoor hayride, wonderful things start happening, like graves filling up with 2 feet of water, props washing away, etc. We have spent more time cleaning up after rain than we have decorating.

Hopefully your stuff will be okay, and you can get some sleep. And, no, there is no sleep for the wicked!

                            Have a good season.

gotta say haunted hoochie is my favorite haunt I go there at least once a year. They do all the things that would have my township trustees on the war path.
Will be there this weekend. The only thing I don't like is the long line to get in.
