  • Any Cheap, effective sotumes?

I'm doing sliding this year, and spent most of my money building sliding gear durable enough for my terrain that ill be sliding on.

So my question is, what is a good, cheap costume idea? It has to be easy to breath, since sliding is tiring.

I have a nice mask, but its too big to slide in.

I want something that is scary, yet humorous at the same time.

So far my idea is knotts style, black shorts, the knee pads, and then long black socks to cover the rest of my legs.

And then just yesterday i took some theatre blood, and bought a plain white t-shirt, and in sloppy blood writing wrote "free hugs" which i think will get quite a bit of people to laugh at.

Then i added smeared hand prints, and splattered blood all over the shirt.

Now all i need is the mask, and something to wear on my lower arms.

    Thanks for all the help

    Why a mask?

    have you considered using makeup?
I love the free hugs shirt! What if you darkened your eyes and "extended" your smile with cuts and stitiches? Bloody of course, maybe a glob of blood for a head wound?
That way you can use dialogue and really entertain as you slide!
As for lower arms, if you go the "crazy" route - take tube socks with the fingers cut out and attach them to your shirt (cheap arm covers, maybe have a "sock friend" on one or more hands?)
Do Vegan Zombies eat heads of lettuce?
