IAAPA ... anyone going?

Is anyone going to IAAPA? I'm actually considering for the first time not going because we have a lot of stuff going on. Just wondering who is and who is not going. Let me know. Larry

We would like to go, but the $240 registration fee is tough to swallow compared to transworld being free. Does anyone have a suggestion about an alternative to paying the reg. fee?

Not going, would like to someday but not this year. Might skip Transworld this year as well, not for monetary reasons though.

I too, will most likely skip TW Haunt Show this year. Not for cost, but because of other reasons unless someone can convince me otherwise.

I will however be at over 23 conventions this upcoming 2010. Both as Vendor, Speaker, guest depending on which.

I will be hitting up for sure haunt wise: Midwest Haunters, Hauntcon, National Haunters (YES I will be at both even though same weekend-dun dun dun), Great Lakes Fright fest, Chicago's, HCP Show, and if the CO one gets its feet set for this fall that one too.

I might not go because I doubt Bill can get the time off this year because he has a new job so it would just be me and my wife and maybe my kids which would mean I would be walking the floor alone. Just doesn't seem fun being there by myself. Plus not all the vendors go. I guess it just depends on how things unfold.

Anyways, we WERE going to go to IAAPA... but now, it doesn't seem like we are this year. We can't justify it, we'll see all the same vendors that we want to see at Transworld! So.... no sense in us going! -Tyler

I doubt very many will miss the Haunt Show. I didn't attend the retail shows last year and probably won't attend any of those again this year.

I going to go to less tradeshows in general they don't produce results these days thanks to the net having such a huge impact on how we do business. I think the Haunt Show is one of the shows that is very important in person and I will attend that no doubt.

I have been to something like 15 IAAPA shows in a row!

This year its in Vegas! I'm still thinking!

We haven't bought a booth yet but we are going to on Friday. So we'll be there... however it looks like not many haunt vendors this year. Scarefactory appears to have a giant booth, TW will be there as well as a few others. IAAPA isn't about the haunt vendors anyway its about finding things you can use at your business.

I hope to see everyone there.
