Well, it's Leonard's show, so, some would suggest you draw your own conclusions from that. I was planning on going until certain mitigating factors came to light.

The Midwest Haunters Convention is of good repute. I can't make MHC this year, but I'm planning on both TW and MHC for next year.

If you only have enough funds for one Con, make it MHC. And be sure to attend Allen's seminars.

From what I saw, it looked like everyone had a blast and really enjoyed the show. Everyone seemed to really enjoyed the seminars, the demos, people were always talking with vendors, and having fun at the parties! I didn't get a chance to go on the haunt tours, but I talked to around 20+ people that said they were a lot of fun. I personally had a great time and look forward to attending HAuNTcon 2013! It's always great being able to meet other great haunters and talk about the industry and their haunts! I just posted a link on another thread to some photos from the show here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/hauntersdigest and I'll be posting our "Haunt Brief" HAuNTcon coverage this next weekend. So be sure to visit HauntersDigest.com for the latest info.

I went to my first show, Hauntcon, last year and to the National Haunters for a few hours this year. I am new to the haunting industry, so here comes the naive question. It seems like the Pickle is a polarizing personality and I was wondering what the reason for that was, other than he appears to be rather opinionated at times (aren't we all?)

I'm curious to know how the national's haunt show went? I haven't seen any photos from it at all or anyone posting anything on FB about it. Did anyone reading this thread attend it and if so, what did you think of the show and the turnout?
