| DeKalb is approximately 1 hour west of Chicago, just off of I-88. DeKalb has two exits - Peace Road & Annie Glidden Road.
From the East Coming from Chicago on I-88 get off at the Peace Road exit (there is a stoplight). Turn right (North) and take Peace Road until you come to the Route 38 (Lincoln Hwy). Turn left (West) and take Route 38 all the way to 4th Street. Turn right, (North), go one block to Locust Street. Turn left, (west), go two blocks to 2nd Street - 2nd is a one way going south. There will be a parking lot in front of the theater and three more lots within one block of the theater.
From the West Coming from the west, take I-88 and exit off at the Annie Glidden Road exit. Continue (North) on Annie Glidden Road until you come to the Fourth stop light which is Lincoln Highway (Route 38). Turn right (East) and take Route 38 all the way to 1st Street. Turn left (North) go one block to Locust Street. Turn right (East), go one block to 2nd Street - 2nd street is a one way street going south. There will be a parking lot in front of the theatre.
From the Northeast Take Rt47 south to Rt38. Turn right (west) and take Rt38, 17 miles to DeKalb.
From Rockford Take Rt39 south to the Rt38 exit, turn left (going east) and take Rt38 to DeKalb, about 16 miles. Stay on Rt38 which is Lincoln Hwy to 1st Street. Turn left, (north) on 1st Street, go to the next street-Locust Street and turn right (east) for one block to 2nd Street. There will be a parking lot in front of the theatre. |
