Condess Hall has a history of misfortune starting with the systematic mass killing of the McCrea family committed by the family�s patriarch, Jack McCrea. After his suicide, Condess Hall was seized by the state and became an orphanage, which became haunted by a mysterious visitor�s gift of a voodoo doll to one of the orphans, and as an elementary school where the principal reportedly hung herself after her terminally ill daughter died from meningitis. In 1971, the house was boarded and shut for good. Condess Hall is an eerie mansion frozen in time with nicely made beds, tables set for service and empty baby cribs sitting dormant.

The Culler Family Butcher Shop was one of the most successful and largest full-service meat markets and slaughterhouses in the South, and also became the scene of a handful of mysterious disappearances. Visitors will tour the shop to learn how the Cullers kill and pack their meat, witnessing the stained red tile floors, smelling the smoky whiff of charred meat and learning where the meat actually comes from.

Completing the �spooktacular� Halloween experience is a wild midway of rides, games and special attractions, as well as Craft and Peddler�s Row, offering eye-opening entertainment, exciting exhibitors, gripping artists and local Villagers selling their unique wares.
