When these people say they know how to scare you, they mean it. They have got this thing down to an art. And take their word for it when they say they don't use cheap scare tactics - Fear Overload's scare tactics are MUCH better than those at Great America's Halloween Haunt. It's not just a physical reaction to loud noises and bangs (and the consequential injured eardrums.. ugh, soooo annoying and inconsiderate). Walking through the mazes actually instills FEAR in you... I was truly and honestly petrified and actually quite... fearful.. hahaha.  I love that the scarers don't scream in your ear, they don't bang trash can lids in your face/ears, they don't bang on the walls when your ear is right there (ahem, Great America). They don't have to do all that to scare you. Fear Overload scares on a psychological level, and the workers obviously love their jobs, and they are HELLA good at it.  The only reason why you can come out of the mazes laughing is becaue you know it isn't real, and you'll be safe once you get out (and you know you will get out). If what I saw in the mazes was reality, I think I would have gone insane. For real."

"Ahhh this place was so fun. I went with a group of my girlfriends and we had a BLAST! SO SCARY!! 
I was never really into haunted houses but my friends convinced me to go-- reluctant at first... but holy Sh*t!! IT Was awesome!  If you get scared really easily- dont go- because you will freak out. This is the place I'm going to go back to every single halloween!!! I'm going to trick some friends into coming with me- tell them it's not that scary.. HA!

"I have family in California and drive down there to see them a bunch. Lucky for me my birthday is around Halloween. When I was down there my sister told me about this wicked cool haunted house. I am not usually one for haunted houses, this one was one of the best I have been to. The tickets were pretty affordable and the experience was well worth it!  It was really fun and really scary! I love the special effects and way they did things did not look cheesy or fake, I was really very shocked!"
