We have a newly formed "Sin City Coaches: Hearse and Professional Car Club. www.sincitycoaches.com (brand new site, no content yet)
They do Halloween and non-Halloween events and semi-regular member type events.
Our biggest event is a Hearse Run (sponsored by my haunted houses)
All the vehicles met at our Hotel Fear haunt. The vehicles were on display for a couple hours. I VIP comped all the riders in each car through the haunt. They then hung around their vehicles answering questions, posing for pictures.
Then they "fired up" and proceeded in a "processional" to our other Attraction The Asylum. Here we have a "Fashion Show". You announce each vehicle, the owner, type of vehicle and any modifications. They were all displayed up front of the haunt. Again, all participants were VIP comped into the attraction. They hung around answering questions and posing for pictures.
As a club event, several owners had brought "tail gate" refreshments and the club members stayed after closing and had a private party in front of the haunt! Everyone had a blast.
Ther aren't many parade in Vegas. We did do a St. Patrick's Day parade last year (and probably this year too) It is locally televised and our hearse got coverage (they even read our logos and locations off the side of the hearse)
The club also gets together and do members only get togethers like a themed Oscar Party.
If you get involved as a Haunt owner, it is an opportunity to get your attraction's name out in the public throughout the year. You really need to own a hearse, then join a club, help sponsor it if necessary. It's all promotion and actually a lot of fun!!
