Hauntcon in the winter

The problem with having any horror convention in November is that it gets really cold in some places...obviously not in Orlando but in Saint Louis it can be really cold. I'm sure in most parts of the midwest it can be really cold or it could be just right. In either case any haunt show that is going to tour haunts needs to take place there is a better chance of warm weather. Look at the pics of Verdun Manor most everyone stood outside waiting to get inside.

If it was cold that would kill that idea.

Another reason it won't work is because most haunts are nomadic and they're taking down their haunted houses in November and thats why IAAPA doesn't get very many haunted house owners. Haunt owners are very busy in November probably more busy in some ways than in the whole month of October.

Lastly, its hard for vendors to produce new product so quickly after shipping out the last batches of old product.

The next time IAAPA goes to Orlando it would be great to get another Haunted Mansion tour going, blah, blah. IAAPA will be back in Orlando in two years. Hold tight!!! LOL.
