Camp Fontanelle was created in 1959 by the United Methodist Church with the main mission of creating an atmosphere of intentional Christian community through summer camping programs. Our faith based summer camps are available from Memorial Day through mid-August. We have residential camps for ages 4 -18 with preschool through 2nd graders attending with a trusted adult. Anyone can come to camp, not just those attending a United Methodist Church. The corn maze and pumpkin patch is a fundraising and educational mechanism to support our main mission. Your generosity and participation are much appreciated. Camp Fontanelle has 183 acres of trails and nature and now serves both adults and children through its programming. The camp is available for other groups (scouting retreats, reunions, confirmation retreats, youth groups, birthday parties, etc.) for the remainder of the months. Heated and air-conditioned facilities, lodging, and meals are available to groups making reservations. Programs for groups include outdoor laser tag, movie nights, jumping pillow, zip lines, sleeping in tree boats, swimming, water slides, challenge course, and recreational tree climbing. September - November Pumpkin Patch Pumpkins of all sizes available, all for free will donation. Suggested prices posted, all donations support summer camp at Camp Fontanelle. Pick from gourds and pumpkins of all sizes up to 30 lb. carving pumpkins in our 2+ acre patch. 5th Annual Wilderness 5k run/1 mile walk Oct. 25 - race/walk begins at 11 am followed by a spaghetti meal & worship. Representatives from area churches/businesses will be positioned within the maze. Movie Nights Oct. 24, Oct. 25 & Oct. 31, 2014 At dusk (6:45ish) a movie will be projected using our LCD projector by the petting barn. Bring the family and your lawn chairs for an outdoor movie experience around a campfire! Check out the maze after the movie! Scary Maze-Oct. 24, 25 & 31, 2014 7 -10 pm Experience the sounds and sights (bring a flashlight!) of rustling corn and other surprises as you try to solve our maze in the darkness of the country night! NEW in 2013 Short maze no spooks, Long maze only will have spooks. Toys for Tots - Sunday October 19, 2014 Bring a girls or boys new toy valued at $5 or more and get free admission! One toy = one free admission. Marines will receive toys 2-4 pm LASER TAG & ZIP LINES Sept. 21 - Nov. 2 Enjoy Camp Fontanelle's outdoor laser tag in the maze. Games are $3 for a 10 minute game.
