Our harvest season is in full swing with U-Pick apples and U-Pick pumpkins, hayrides corn maze, & our other activities and fun galore! We host educational fall school field trips (including our new Spookley the Square Pumpkin & his anti-bullying message corn maze), as well as group events and fall birthday parties by reservation. Weekends on the farm are a- maze -ing, guaranteed fun with kid-friendly & family-fun activities offered each weekend! Our one price general admission enables you to stay longer, play harder, spend less, & make more memories together as a family!! Pumpkins, Pumpkins, & More Pumpkins! Be sure to visit Central New Jersey’s favorite pumpkin patch, apple orchard, & corn maze! This fall we have 3 pumpkin patches…one take-a-hayride-to pumpkin patch & two walk-to patches and they’re loaded with pumpkins of all shapes & sizes! Spend the day with us and visit all 3!! Pick-Your-Own Apples in our Orchard U-Pick apples are available while the crop lasts! VonThun Farms pick-your-own apple orchard will open in September as the apples become plentiful. Be sure to come out early in the season for the best selection! Our apple varieties include Golden Delicious, Mutsu, Autumn Gala, Cameo, Nittany, Suncrisp, and Snapp Stayman. Some varieties may be ready for picking in earlier in the season than others, so call for availability. Jersey Fresh apples….mmmm!! Fall Harvest Weekend Activities Every fall weekend is a Fall Harvest Weekend at VonThun Farms! Offering pick-your-own pumpkins & apples, hayrides, large interactive corn maze, and lots of fun family activities. Come hungry and have lunch from one of our food vendors or munch our ‘farm fresh’ goodies. Our one price general admission enables you to stay longer, play harder, spend less, & make more memories together as a family!! More info… Our 28th Annual Fall Festival – October 11 & 12 Our annual Fall Festival is always held Saturday and Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. Enjoy live country music, visit with our vendors, & grab a bite to eat from one of our many food vendors before you set out to enjoy all our activities, attractions, & entertainment with the whole family! Festival details Our one price festival admission enables you to enjoy most of our activities over & over again…all day long! Make sure you save about an hour to do our corn maze…YUP! You’ll be lost & lovin’ it for that long! Fall Farm Tours Fall on the farm provided lots of educational opportunities for our elementary school visitors! Our basic farm tour includes a hayride, educational crop tour, visit with our farm animals, pumpkin picking, and a few little goodies for the kids to take home. The Country Farm Market Our farm market is opened daily with thousands of homegrown hardy mums, pumpkins, and all your fall decorating needs, including corn stalks, indian corn, gourds, and more! We have a wonderful assortment of fall gifts and goodies, featuring decorative halloween lawn stakes, wall hangings and our humble garden crows and scarecrows. Good Things to Eat- Delicious farm fruit pies, apple cider, candy apples, our own VonThun Farms jams and jellies, Jersey Fresh, homegrown in-season vegetables, and assorted baked goods are also available in the market. Mums in Many Colors- Our homegrown hardy field mums are available throughout September & October and are available in dozens of colors & varieties. 20,000 mums are grown annually on the farm, so be sure to stop by & pick out those perfect mums for you
