ABOUT "Tews Corn Maze"
This exciting maze of trails is an elaborate design that can only be seen from the sky or on a photograph. We give you an easy-to-follow map so you can enjoy the fresh air and natural setting as you find your way through the “picture”!
Along with our other fun outdoor activities, yummy food is available every open day. You can enjoy lunch or supper with us when you find your way out of the maze! The Tews Corn Maze adventure is a great way for both young and old alike to wrap up the summer or start the fall.
So put on some good walking shoes, dress casually (this is a farm!) and wear layers if it’s chilly.
DATE & TIME SCHEDULE
Let Us Introduce Ourselves! Our names are Ted and Linda Tews, and we are the proud parents of eight children (four sons and four daughters, ages 32 to 12 years) and grandparents of nine (three girls and six boys). We are dairy farmers in Winona County, Minnesota, and have been farming here for over 30 years. In 2009 we decided to add “Corn Maze Owners & Operators” to our resumes. Our first maze was an an “Udderly Corny Cow” in a 7-acre field. We had close to 3,000 visitors in our 7 weeks of business and received many favorable comments. Though it was a tremendous amount of work and a much bigger undertaking than we had imagined, we were encouraged by the kind comments and the laughter and fun that we got to be part of.Each year we have had a new design as we do again this year. This year’s corn maze promises to be just as exciting. The design is in honor of Ted's mom and dad who will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on September 26.Whether you are a veteran maze walker or first-timer, we invite you to come and be part of the fun. We look forward to seeing you along with your family and friends this fall. Ted & Linda Tews and Family - Admission $9 for ages 5 and up, free for ages 4 and under.
