Okay, I have an idea for a new attraction, but I need to transport the attendees through the haunt using a trolley of sorts. I am thinking about a trolley car like those used at resorts that I can pull with my ATV or Golf Cart (its a heavy duty Golf Cart). I need to move 12 people at a time using this trolley. Anyone know of a source for cheap trolleys, and has anyone tried this before?

it really depends on your budget here, what do you consider inexpensive, and what are your insurance requirements? just remember that anytime you start transporting guests, insurance liabilities change from when you were simply a walk-through attraction.-Mat

There Was An Attraction....
That had a very small gauge train with the customers riding in the little train cars through their haunt, mostly outdoors.
The owner either didn't know any better or was neglectfull when it came to maintenance. The train rolled over, off the tracks, people broke arms, ex cetra. The owner tried to say the teenage employee driving the train should be sued, not him!?
This accident did happen. The teenager's Mother told me about this with a fair amount of anger in her tone of voice.
This was a haunt made from an abandoned Motel.
The owner had the idea to under-pay his help with the lottery chance that a drawing at the season's end would keep them working since one or two of them would get a trip to Disneyland.
Each employee had to amass a certain numbers of timeclock hours to be eligble but since the owner was almost never around, one kid would punch in all of his Buddies leaving the haunt extremely empty of actors, creating an extreme "Rip-Off situation for the ticket buying public... "Oh, well?"
The little train was not going fast when this accident happened , it was just overloaded I was told. Who's duty it was to check this?
But then I suppose if a group of adult-sized bodies got roudy enough, they could roll it off the tracks? The leverage and concentrated swaying could do it, seems to me.

All in all it can be done, maybe even look into used amusement rides if it's going to add that much value to the haunt. Reguardless there will be a lot of liability and capital needed to do this kind of project safely and avoid equiptment failure durring a show.J. F. Storm
