projects and portfolio

I want to be given the challenge from you guys to have small projects to do that would improve my portfolio and my chances of better working with distinguised peoples such as yourselves. Keep in mind that I'm in a small university city and I can't randomly use tools from another class if I'm not in it. i.e. a kiln or something. Ready? Go!
