  • Source for artificial plants

I need a quantity of artificial plants (mostly ferns/palms/tropical) for a rain forest/cave section we are detailing. Anyone got suggestions other than cleaning out Big Lots. Still looking at $20 to $30 per plant that way.

"Artificial Pants"? Who would need them? What would they be made out of?
Would this merely be a verbal term for when the wife takes over ? (Temporarilly, of course, hence+"Artificial". We just let her think she has taken control)
    ??
Would this be a Nudist Camp scene?
    "I have on pants."
    "None that I can see."
    "Look again."
    "I would rather not."
"Squint, turn your head to the side, let me lower the lighting, there, see my pants now?"
    "No, no pants anywhere."
"Dam! Jim sold me these artificial pants when I was at The Ravens Grin Inn, he said he uses them all the time! They were supposed to be a brand-name too!"
    "What brand?"
"Emperor's Clothes" brand, very popular with true sun worshippers world-wide."

Although I've never gotten palms, but lots of ferns, we have our local cemeteries call us when it's time for them to strip the artificial plants every summer. Also, if you have a Dollar Tree nearby, they have a few things that may work as well for cheap $$$.

Look in the nearest large city for wholesale silk foilage or a wholesale floral/decorator supply.
