Midwest Haunters Convention News and Updates
About the MHC 2009
Our dates are set for MHC 09. June 5, 6 & 7 in Columbus, Ohio. Mark your calendars now.
We are returning to the Columbus Convention Center, but we’ll be in Hall C, at the bottom of the escalator, just a short walk from the Hyatt. This 100,000 sq ft show floor offers us the opportunity to continue to grow our exhibitor trade show.
The Hyatt Regency will once again be our host hotel. Since we were packed shoulder to shoulder in the 6,000 sq ft ballroom for our Saturday night party; they’ve moved us to their 17,000 sq ft Regency Ballroom.

Ms Scary Midwest Pageant
Our popular event gets a registration update
The Ms Scary Midwest pageant annually looks for the scariest female haunt
character in the Midwest. It took a few years, but this event has finally
achieved the level of interest that we anticipated when we first introduced
it. With this popularity we have decided to bring back the original
registration process in order to ensure we have the best candidates in the
pageant. The 2009 registration process is as follows:
The Midwest Haunters Convention will be accepting applications to compete
on Saturday, June 6, 2009 during the Ms Midwest Scary Pageant. We’re
looking for the Scariest Woman in the Midwest.
Application can be submitted via mail or e-mail. We will accept entries January 1 through April 1, 2009. A panel of judges will select 8 contestants from all entries to compete on stage. We will announce the 8 finalists on April 20. Contestants will have until May 1st to pay their $25 entry fee.
Preliminary judging will be based on your character photo and bio.
Optional video can be mailed or downloaded to youtube.com.
