Not in my haunt, but a neighboring haunt that ran for over 20 years before closing....someone took a dump in their maze
Like a midget at a urinal, you gotta be on your toes

Along with the usual ear rings, iphones, and shoes, some crazy bastard left a fighting stick in our chimney

          Mine is a bit scarier.

We were doing a follow through behind a group who seemed like they could cause trouble. Sure enough they start some crap with the actor in the very first room. As my very large security guys were "escorting" them out the nearest emergency door, I notice something on the floor. Turns out to be the magazine from some type of .40 caliber semi auto hand gun. I am glad we were following them out.

We called the police and let them handle the rest. Just proves you never know what people are carrying inside your haunt these days. Are all haunts going to have to start using medal detectors?

            A Dump

Taking a dump in the maze must be a popular thing to do. Same thing happened to us. We knew something had happened because of the smell but when we did flashlight walkthroughs while we were open we couldn't find anything. Once we closed and the regular lights came on we found it. I don't know how one person was able to do so much...they must have saved it for weeks. It started in the maze and all the customers shoes that stepped in it tracked it all over the haunt. I have germ phobia so it sent me right over the edge. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing and sterilizing the floors, carpets and step pads for hours. I didn't see anything on the robe type costumes that drag on the floor but I had to take them to the 24 hour laundry mat and wash them just to be safe. We tended to attract a trashy type crowd so I was always ready for the drunks and troublemakers but never in my life I expected something like this to happen.

              you name it...

First we are between 2 Big Ten Universities. Michigan State is 20 miles west and University of Michigan is 40 miles southeast. Stripes from marching band member coat, jello shot containers, shoes, car keys, cell phones, wet adult diapers (especially near front of non haunted corn maze after people have finished the haunted side of the field) girlfriends ditched by boyfriends who run out of the haunt without their girlfriend (those guys get a lot of grief in the parking lot). Bridges (as in false teeth) were definately differnet. Earings, necklaces, are common. But I guess my favorite are the $20 bills. So far no weapons.

                Strangest and scariest

One of my guides found a Taser that someone had dropped in my mine shaft after a group had gone through.
No one has ever contacted me looking for it.
Don't want to imagine why someone would bring something like that to an event.
                Creepy.......
