  • Did anyone see this story about Disney Haunted Mansion

    http://www.ziggyknowsdisney.com/2017...magic-kingdom/

There are several links out there about Disney building a Haunted Mansion restaurant.

I'll be the first one in line. I wonder why no other haunted house owner has ever ventured into building something like this. I wonder why.

Too many saw what happened to Jekyll & Hyde?
Going into a high failure rate business might not be a great idea for a haunter with it's industry high failure rate .

      My thoughts exactly!

Though we have a local restaurant in my area called Zombie Burger which is a zombie themed burger joint. It's an extremely popular place and is always busy! They have opened up four locations now.

Excited to see how this turns out!

No one knows if its true or not... I hope it is. This is what I can tell you because I know its true... remember NEW YORKS Hyde which just closed. Disney talked to them about opening one next to Towers of Terror several years ago. So who knows. Larry

Recently went to Beetle House (http://beetlehousenyc.com) in NYC. Small space, have to make reservations (even for drinks), but very interesting concept and we had a great time. They have a Tim Burton character roaming around each night, which makes the experience unique. Also was able to stop by House of Wax (http://thehouseofwax.com) in Brooklyn. Very cool museum/bar with all the death masks and other pieces, but it's in a mall because it's owned by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (the bar is housed right next to the theater). There's a market for themed restaurants/bars, but I can see it being difficult for a haunt owner to divide up their time if they want to get into the business.
