smoke screen

anybody know who carries a smoke curtain. Seem to remember it about 8' x 8' that guests walked thru.

They are mostly for projecting on (ala Pirate of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World
) But no reason you can't have people walk through one.

They use this special fx at Pirates inside Disney. They use a projector and shine a CGI FX into the smoke screen. Pretty damn cool.

Vortex Chillers makes one. It looks like you only get the horizontal pipe, and have to DIY the rest. Still, it's pretty cool:

Now that I've looked at this, I'm interested too... Have any of you actually tried building one? I see it has a chiller on it, to make the fog fall. It has a fan to propel the fog up out of the nozzles. Is that really all there is to it?
