At The Darkness we're turning our horror gift shop area into something you can rent prior to each day we're open... guests will pay $58.95 and get fast passes to The Darkness, Hive, do our 3 minute escape room and use that room for two hours prior to opening. In the room we could put on horror movies, plus we put in 7 horror themed pinball games which would be on free play.

We allow them to bring in food and their own drinks.

    Something we're going to try...

If we booked every night which we won't... it would generate about 50k. I'll post some pictures.

Do you have a minimum number of people needed to rent the space?

For $1,200 why not supply drinks/snacks? Dark Hour Haunted House in Plano, TX has the best VIP room I've ever seen. Their perks included a viewing of a documentary they filmed about the making of their attraction, a free t-shirt, a fully stocked snack/drink bar, and VIP admission to the haunt. On top of that, they had a small scare box where your guests were able to scare people who were going through the attraction. It was incredible and was a huge hit!

I like where you're going with the VIP area, though. People will definitely pay for such an experience!
