Halloween Haunted House Burns After Fire at Talon Falls Haunted House in Kentucky
One of the industries best haunted houses, and recently featured in Hauntworld Magazine burnt to the ground. The fire is survived by only the haunted hayride and one other haunted house. Eight fire trucks battled the blaze trying to save the beloved haunted house. Talon Falls had planned to open for a special tour for the 2011 Transworld Halloween and Haunted House show as a pre-tour to the convention located in St. Louis, Missouri. Owner Todd Faren claims he will rebuild the haunted house and have it ready for the 2011 Halloween season despite not having any insurance on the property. The haunted house industry through the Hauntworld.com Message board has promised donations, and free labor to help rebuild the haunted house.
Simply another case where the haunted house industry sticks to together to help each other. The owners of Hauntworld.com have proposed a get together at the location to build a haunted house in ONE WEEKEND! Can a haunted house really be built in one weekend with a team of 40 or 50 haunt owners all pitching in? How would that haunted house turn out. We will follow these developments and report on any dates to help Todd and crew rebuild some of their haunted houses lost to a tragic fire.
If you have any interest in helping or joining a massive crew to build a haunted house later this spring/summer or wish to donate to Talon Falls please contact Larry at firstname.lastname@example.org
As of this report there are still NO confirmation as to what caused the fire.
