  • Ideas for hanging man

This is probably a weird question, but I'm trying to hang a man up on my ceiling to the light fixture. The only problem is, everything I try is to heavy for the light fixture to hold. Any ideas on a very light weight dummy?
    Thank you

LOL you beat me to it. Yeah clear tape sculpture is the way to go on this and gives the most natural life like form.

          You could try this?

Instead of actually only being attached to the light fixture make it look like its only attached to the fixture. while you have a harness actually holding up your body and attached from above the light. You would have to hide your cable or rope well or even paint it or run it through the light fixture if possible. If not drill a big enough hole through it. May not be the easiest? But could be most realistic maybe!

            Hang em high

We did hang an actor a few years back, by rigging to the ceiling truss and making it look like they were hung by the ceiling hook. I use a full body harness for the most natural look carefully hidden under the costume, and the rope used to actually hold them is tied to the manila rope used for the noose (NEVER ATTACH THE NOOSE TO ANYTHING). Worked great, and the actor was able to hang all night with a few breaks in-between.
