Irvine Park Railroad's Pumpkin Patch in Orange County is fun for the entire family! Come out and enjoy the many activities for kids of all ages. The Pumpkin Patch is located just behind the Train Station and admission is FREE! Please note that a gate entrance fee will be charged by the County of Orange for each vehicle that enters Irvine Regional Park. Take as much time as you'd like to find the perfect pumpkin. The Pumpkin Patch, located in Locomotive Loop just behind the Train Station, is filled with thousands of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. The cost of the pumpkins is based on size. The Pumpkin Patch is complete with Halloween décor and a farm house feel... and, makes an ideal setting for taking pictures! Both children and adults are sure to have fun navigating through the giant hay maze. Bales of hay are stacked at different heights... and, you must use your intuition to work your way through the winding paths to get to the end of the maze.

SEASONAL EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS

Daily train rides! And, children ages 12 and under can wear their Halloween costume to Irvine Park Railroad on Saturday, October 25th. Every child that wears a costume on that day will receive a free goodie bag filled with Irvine Park Railroad giveaways. John Deere Tractor Racers is great for any child up for the challenge of driving a motorized John Deere Tractor racer around a safe and fun obstacle course. Younger siblings or friends can ride along in the passenger seat for an additional ticket! Children will have a blast as they jump for joy in the pumpkin bounce house. The pumpkin bounce house is truly one of the most popular Pumpkin Patch activities. Every day, a skilled artist will turn visitor's faces into something sweet or scary. Witches, pumpkins, ghosts and more... face painting is another favorite Pumpkin Patch activity! With 1 ticket, children can try their luck at two carnival-style Halloween games. That’s a lot of fun AND two chances to win a prize. The spooky haunted house is not too spooky for even the youngest Pumpkin Patch visitors. Guess the weight of the giant pumpkin and the winner will take the pumpkin home! In order to enter the contest, a valid email address must be provided. The winner will be notified by email. Every child that wears a costume to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 31st will receive a FREE Irvine Park Railroad prize! The costume day is just one of Irvine Park Railroad's many Halloween activities that are fun for all children

Irvine Park Railroad’s 3rd annual pumpkin patch is fun for the entire family! The pumpkin patch opens daily at 10:00 am beginning September 20th through November 2nd. Activities include train rides, hay rides, a haunted house, a hay maze, pony rides, a moon bounce, face painting (weekends only), picture stands, the Orange County Zoo, and a lot more. Admission into the pumpkin patch is free. Prices for all other activities vary. School and group

Irvine Park Railroad is located inside of Irvine Regional Park at 1 Irvine Park Railroad in Orange, California. The nearest major cross streets are Champan Avenue and Jamboree. From South Orange County/San Diego: Take the 5 freeway North, exit at Jamboree and turn right heading North. Jamboree dead ends into Irvine Regional Park. From Los Angeles: Take the 5 freeway Sout, exit at Jamboree and turn left heading North. Jamboree dead ends into Irvine Regional Park. From the Inland Empire: Take the 91 freeway West and make the transition to the 55 freeway South. Exit at Katella and turn Left, heading East. Turn left on Jamboree; Jamboree will take you straight into Irvine Regional Park.
