As with many ships, many lives came to an end and many men lost the battle onboard and which causing several hauntings.  The USS Constellation was the name of the ship and it was the very last of the all-sail warship to be built by the United States Navy.  This magestic ship performed greatly from 1854 through the Civil War.  It has been reported of  ghostly figures being seen and yet other report of hearing horrific noises.  The paranormal feeling and sctivity and very strong and yet the history of this amazing ship is one that will live in the hearts of many men forever.  It has now been restored and is now open for tours to the public

One place that Baltimore is known for that is sure to scare you is the home of fear legend himself, Edgar Allen Poe.  Poe lived here from 1832 to 1835 and during that short time he wrote one of his best first horror stories, "Berenice."  Poe died in 1849, but the fascination lives on. 

You can visit where Edgar Allen Poe was buried at the famous Westminister Church Cemetery.  Some of these famous men are General Samuel Smith, who helped organize the defense of Baltimore in the War of 1812, and the Secretary of War under George Washington and John Adams, Colonel James McHenry, after whom Fort McHenry was named.  On Halloween you will find many fans gathered for an evening of readings, complete with tours of the catacombs under the church. Both the house and cemetery are located in the western side of downtown Baltimore. 

 Another attraction that you just do not want to miss when you are in Baltimore is the Fright Fest event that happens every October  at Six Flags America.  Here you will whitness the park you love to have fun at transform into a spooky and haunted playground that is fun for both kids and adults!  Come and experience all the excitment you can handle from gosts, goblins, haunted attractions and live entertainment!  This is by far the biggest Halloween even in Baltimore and you don't want to miss a minute of it!
