About Indy Scream Park Indy Scream Park is what happens when the best minds in the haunted house industry come together to produce a haunted house, from scratch, like no other in the Indianapolis, Indiana metro area. Located in Anderson, Indiana, just minutes northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana, Indy Scream Park is five spectacular haunted house attractions, plus a Monster Midway, designed to scare and entertain thousands of patrons every fall. When is Indy Scream Park open? We are open during select dates from September 28th through October 31st, 2012. Visit our Hours Page for more information on exact dates and hours. How long is the line? The longest lines can be found on Fridays and Saturdays. We recommend purchasing a VIP Fast Pass or coming on a Thursday or Sunday to avoid the longest lines. What is the VIP Fast Pass? Is it really worth the extra cost? The VIP Fast Pass allows you to use a separate, shorter line at each of our 5 haunted houses. We highly recommend the VIP Fast Pass to avoid long waits in line. Buy your VIP Fast Pass tickets online through the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page and save $6 per ticket! Does Indy Scream Park offer group rates? Yes. Group tickets to Indy Scream Park must be purchased online and groups must be at least 10 victims or more to take advantage of our group rates. Visit the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page to purchase your Indy Scream Park tickets online. Does Indy Scream Park offer group rates at the door/on site? No. Group tickets must be purchased online, through the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page to take advantage of group rates. Can I buy tickets in advance? Yes! You can purchase tickets through the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page. We also offer group discounts for groups of 10 victims or more. Buying tickets online will save you time at the ticket booth. After you purchase your tickets online, bring them to the “online tickets” window at the ticket booth to pick up your wristband. Does Indy Scream Park accept credit cards? Credit cards may only be used to purchase tickets online through the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page. We do not accept credit cards on site, but we do have ATMs on site. Is there a way to avoid waiting in line? VIP Fast Passes get you into the haunted house attractions much faster. Buy your VIP Fast Pass tickets online through the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page and save $6 per ticket! Is there a charge for parking? Yes, there is a $5 fee for parking. You can purchase a parking pass in advance through the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page or you can pay cash when you arrive. We do not accept credit cards on site. How do I get there? Indy Scream Park is conveniently located just northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana off of I-69, exit #26. For complete directions, including directions coming from Indianapolis, Indiana, please visit our Directions Page. What is your policy regarding refunds? Purchasing a ticket to Indy Scream Park is the same as purchasing a ticket to a sporting or concert event. All sales are final. We do not issue refunds on any tickets or purchases. When does Indy Scream Park close? On Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween, ticket sales stop at 11:30pm and on Thursdays and Sundays ticket sales stop at 9:30pm. The indoor attractions start closing immediately after we stop selling tickets. However, as long as you are in line for the indoor haunted house attractions before we stop selling tickets, then you will be able to get through all of our indoor and outdoor haunted house attractions before they close. Are the monsters allowed to touch you? No. The monsters inside of our haunted house attractions are not allowed to touch you. However, they do get very close. Occasionally, you may brush up against their costumes or props. You may also come into contact with some of the haunted house sets. Am I allowed to touch the monsters? No. Do not touch the monsters inside of our haunted house attractions. Are there any age restrictions? Indy Scream Park is recommended for adults and teens, but younger kids may come if parents choose to bring them. Carrying babies through our haunted house attractions is NOT recommended. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish. There are many emergency exits throughout each haunted house attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue. Is Indy Scream Park wheelchair accessible? All three of the indoor haunted house attractions are wheelchair accessible. The outdoor haunted house attractions are also wheelchair accessible, but please keep an eye out for natural hazards (soft dirt, small rocks, etc.). Please notify the box office of any special needs. Is there a lot of smoke in the haunted house attractions? We do use fog and scent machines. Should you find the smoke or odors too intense, there are emergency exits throughout the haunted house attractions. If you have asthma or other breathing issues or alergies, do not enter. Are there strobe lights inside your haunted houses? Yes. Can I go inside your haunted houses if I’m pregnant? Indy Scream Park is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have heart conditions, breathing issues, prone to seizures, any pre-existing health problems or are in general poor health. Do not enter. Are your haunted house attractions open if it rains? During extended periods of heavy rain, the outside haunted house attractions may close, but the inside haunted house attraction will remain open. In the event we close the outdoor haunted house attractions due to inclement weather, customers will receive a rain check for the outside haunted house attractions. What should I wear to your haunted house? We have fire pits in the Monster Midway if you get cold, but please dress weather appropriate. We do not recommend wearing sandals, heels, flip flops or open toed shoes through the outdoor haunted attractions. Does Indy Scream Park have a security staff? Indy Scream Park employs a fully trained security staff, including uniformed police officers, to keep things running smoothly at our haunted houses. Can we be thrown out of your haunted house for any reason? Yes. We do not allow foul language, touching, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, drugs, etc. Are you required to follow any laws regarding haunted house safety? Yes. We are required to follow the Indiana State Fire Code and our haunted house facility is inspected each year by the Indiana State Fire Marshall’s office. We also take additional fire safety steps including installing extra emergency lighting, performing extra emergency preparedness training and establishing additional safety procedures to ensure that Indy Scream Park haunted house is the safest haunted house in the state of Indiana. Do you serve food, drinks and alcoholic beverages at your haunted house location? Indy Scream Park sells a full complement of food, beverages and beers. State law does not allow customers to bring alcohol onto our property. Additionally, we do not allow entrance into our haunted house attractions if we feel that you are intoxicated. Is smoking allowed inside your haunted houses? Smoking is only allowed in the parking lot, haunt midway and outdoor waiting lines. Smoking is NOT allowed indoors, at any time. Can we take photos or video inside of your haunted house attractions? No. You are not allowed to take videos or photos inside of our haunted house attractions. You are, however, allowed to take photos in the haunt midway and in the areas outside of our haunted houses. What can’t we bring with us inside of your haunted house attractions? You are not allowed to bring pets, food, beverages, flashlights or laser pointers into the haunted house. Food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages) are only allowed in the haunt midway and waiting lines. How old do you have to be to work at Indy Scream Park? You must be at least 18 years old to work at Indy Scream Park haunted house.
