MISSION We’re passionate about monster making and makeup education. Here at West FX Inc., we constantly seek opportunities to connect with others about monsters and makeup in order to foster community growth. HISTORY West FX Inc. was founded in 2018 by professional makeup artist and monster creator Jeff West. With 20 years of experience in entertainment and previously serving as the Creative Director of Woochie by Cinema Secrets, Mr. West started West FX Inc. as a special effects monster workshop. There, he’d teach classes about prosthetic creation for the Halloween and Haunt Industry, and offer services for custom special effects products. “To put it simply, I love making monsters,” says Mr. West. “Ever since I was a kid and picked up my first horror magazine, I knew this is what I wanted to do.” Mr. West created his own line of special effects products specifically designed for the Halloween and Haunted Attractions Industry. The West FX Line of Professional Foam Latex Prosthetics will launch alongside the new West FX System, a collection of high-quality special effects makeup products and tools. “The Halloween and Haunt community allows people who love Halloween to make a living off of their passion,” says Mr. West. “It’s all come back full circle -- making monsters is what I do.”
