The Salem Witch Trials were several hearings before the court to prosecute the people who were accused of using witchcraft between the years of 1692 and 1693. All those who were found guilty were hung to death on Gallow Hill with the exeption of Giles Cory who refused to stand trial. He was pressed to death in a Salem field. Bridget Bishop was tried on June 2 and was hung on June 10th.
