There is nothing scarier than an old brick building which was once used as a hospital that is now known to have paranormal activity.  Welcome to The Haunting of The Maumee Bay Brewing Company.  Built in 1859, this building was originally used as the Oliver House Hotel.  Then, during the Revolutionary was it was then that this same building was used as a make-shift hospital for the wounded.  Today the building is being used for the Maumee Brewing Company as well as other companies.  The building has been overwelmed with paranormal activity since the 60's.  It was originally built over an Indian burial gorund and during renovation many bones were dug up and just burried right back and covered with dirt.  There have been several reports of  creaking boards, doors opening and shutting and cold spots have been frequently felt. There are several different spirits which have been known to live in the building .  To this day you still hear the strange noises and unexplained occurances.

Toledo's oldest and largest structure is the Collingwood Arts Center.  When you visit this enourmous piece of history, many have described the building as "Flemish Gothic"  in design.  If you decide to visit the Collingwood Arts Center be prepared for both the beauty of the massive buiding, but also the restless feeling and feeling as if their are restless spirits.  Originally opened in 1905 as the new teaching convent, this is one place you must visit while you are in Toledo, Ohio
