One of the most popular yet real ghost stories in Tucson Arizona is that in the Modern Language Arts Building at the Univesity of Arizona's campus in Tucson.  This building was built back in 1965 on a piece of land where a violent murder took place.  A young female student was brutally killed and her lifeless body was thrown down an old well.  During construction, the skeletal remains were found my some of the workers.  They did not report them to the police or anyone at the time in fear it may slow doen the progress of their work.  It has been reported by many of the students as well as the employees of the college of seeing a young woman who seems restless and confused.  Some students have tried to talk to her, but the woman quickly covers her face and runs away.  Many beleive to this day that the Modern Language Arts Building is still haunted to this day.  Hopefully there will be a seremony held such as a seance to try and rescue the young girl that had felt tortured  and her soul would once feel free.

Yet another well known address in Tucson is the Velasco Pueblo.  Originally built in the middle 1800's  this home started small and was soon added to through  the 1880's.  In 1878 the house was newely owned by its most famous owners, Carlos Velasco and it was then that it had it's first major renovation.   As the years past, the adobe house became very unsaefe and beyond repair and then suffered a fire.  Thankfully, the Velasco Pueblo was rescued by 3 new owners, Brown, Dillon and Cobb, who took on the huge project to renovate this historic pueblo to its former glory.

Soon after the three new owners realized they were not alone.  They had known what Carlos looked like and so they knew it was him that was watching him.  Carlos would watch the men work, almost as if he is watching over the men and the work they are doing on "his" home.  At times he would be seen just lounging and standing around.   Anyone who has seen or come in contact with this home reports as it still being haunted.  The unexplaind activity and ther erie feeling is enough to tell the story of the mane who loved his home, Carlos Velaco.
