Okay folks let me tell you some inside news here. Couple of things... we have a new Haunted House Magazine website you can take a peak here: http://64.185.233.53/haunted_house_directory.cfm
the new site will have a haunt finder, and it will be independent from Hauntworld totally. You have to create a new account from scratch and the haunt finder will be limited to those who are advertisers of Hautnworld.
Last year HauntedHouseMagazine had over 250,000 visits in October and this year we plan on giving them something when they show up... featured haunt articles, haunt directory, information about the industry and more.
Once this goes live you need to list your haunt. The far right area will be about the different issues of each magazine. The middle section is about featured haunts and the tiles on the far left is links to articles ... we will upload 100 plus articles so you can read them for FREE!
Lastly, wanted to mention that we added a third page to our Hauntworld haunt directory...
If you paid to be a featured listing you are on the first page, if you pay $50.00 you can be on the second page OR if you have a trackback code on your site and or a link banner to hauntworld.com. If you do NOT have a trackback on your site or a banner linking back to Hauntworld your event will be moved to the third page further and further away from those who support our website.
So make sure if you are one of those small haunts charity haunts or whatever that you get the Hauntworld banner on your website so you can stay on the second page...its still free but you have to show some level of support back otherwise you'll be moved after the show.
We want to show MORE support for those who have linked Hauntworld or for those who advertise with us. I hope you understand and its fair and simple enough.
