Columbus Ohio is THE PLACE to be June 4-6, 2010 for Entertainment! Halloween Fun in JUNE to BAR NONE!!! It’s the show for professionals that work hard in the industry during October (and the rest of the year too) ~ it’s the last stop shopping and ordering opportunity for haunted attractions with Halloween less than 100 days away.
Makeup Artist Professionals, students and fans will converge for a unique and exciting weekend of educational opportunities, contests and special events at the Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) in Columbus, Ohio June 4-6, 2010. The MHC, now in its 7th year, is the largest event of its kind serving the haunted attraction industry worldwide and proudly sponsored by Westland Insurance.
Monster Makeup Wars - Saturday, June 5, @ 4:30 pm sponsored by Bloody Mary Makeup is complementary to attend with registered admission (free and available on-site) to the MHC Vendor Tradeshow. Five Teams of Artists with a Model are given a black box of makeup and 30 minutes to create a unique monster. The makeup results and characters created are delightful!
The Black Light Body Art Fashion Show: Saturday, June 5th 9:00 pm will feature international Body Painters and emerging Artists in a black light Halloween Fantasy Theme. It will be SPECTACULAR! It is sponsored by Wolfe Face Art and FX, with special assistance from Tekno Bubbles. The Body Art Fashion Show jump starts the entertainment as the kickoff event for the MHC Monster Masquerade Party, sponsored by the International Association of Haunted Attractions (IAHA).
Featured Body Art Artists include Keith Newsome/Funhouse Illusions, Nick and Brian Wolfe/Evil Twin FX, Pashur/Canvas Alive, Pam Trent/Way Wicked Art, Yolanda Bartrum/Body FX, Matt Seel/Dream Makers Ink, “Killer” Katie Johnston, Jackie Steinert/Rotting Flesh Radio, and Nick Herrera/European Body Art.

The MHC is the largest show of its kind serving the haunted attraction industry and is attended by Producers, Actors, Artists and Home Haunters.
