Does anyone know who the manufacturers of those are and where to find purchase information on them. There is one I just saw the other day for a church organization called the 99 here in my town. It's something like a roadshow about teen deaths from what I heard, but they have one of these tents and construct a haunt type attraction inside it. I thought that it was a great way to setup a attraction in prime real estate area without having to worry about a building each year. Just throw one up in the mall parking lot, then take it down and store it in a semi till next year. All you need is to pay a cheap rent for the parking lot use and hook into the power and your good to go.

You must have done a lot of research on this. It shows!

Kind of like, gee, how about starting a web site for some industry and simply troll the internet and borrow content from other sites. All you have to do is collect money from advertisers and not have to worry about original content and members, and ... Sure fire cash cow!

          Hey Karl,

I don't know what happened to get you so upset with me, but I just want to clear the air real quick. I'm sorry if what I said came out wrong, as I wasn't trying to imply some kind of cheap "get rich quick" scam. When I was referring to the tent, I was saying that it may be a better solution for those that are trying to do a large haunt but can't find a good high traffic location without paying something like $30 a SqFt that you usually do for high retail areas, where as building in the parking lot, as some "trailer" and non perm haunts do. The rent would be more affordable and you could use the savings to help pay for your tent. I'm actually sitting here waiting for my car to be finished being serviced and I was reading issue 12 of the HauntWorld magazine. Specifically the article "Safety on Wheels - The Mobile Attraction". In fact there's several articles referencing exactly what I was talking about before. That's why I asked if any knew about the tents.

Now about the website. I don't why that has put a bad position. I didn't create the site to copy or steal other peoples content. I created the site because I felt that there was tons if great material on the net for haunts, but it's spread all over the place with no real central spot for people to discover and share these materials without having to dig all over the net. If I am able to post a link back to another persons tutorial or news to help spread the word to more people that may not regularly visit one forum or site, then where's the problem? Also, I try to contact the person before I post it to make sure they know I'm doing it to help send them traffic. That's what I did for Tarra with her "Beloved Tutorial" and she seemed very happy and honored that I thought her tutorial should be shared in that way. Also, when I posted the news about the new haunted house "Oblivion" just being announced, they seemed very happy for the additional exposure. I'm also searching for people that are interested in writing for the site to help produce "custom" content. As that is what the second article on the site is about, called "Contribute". I'm also writing articles myself to publish to the site. The first being an analysis of online ticking solutions based on interviews I did with ticket leap and interactive ticking a month ago. And any ads that I do have on the site is to help for the hosting and bandwidth cost. I'm not running spam ads and this was not made to be a "cash cow". I designed it to be something to help bring the mass amounts of great materials from in the industry to a single place to help everyone share and find quality content. I'm sorry that you got the wrong impression.

I seem to recall an article by Karl explaining in detail exactly how "easy" it is to throw one of those tents up and put on a haunt.

              Charles,
What gets me going is when a new participant, especially a enthusiast, comes on line and makes some flippant remark, implying it is some kind of fact. You obviously have no experience in this realm so why bother posting the comment?

My remarks about a web site was to show you how ridiculous it is for a novice in an area to make remarks without any bases in fact.

              Have a nice day

So instead of trying to actually engage someone in a discussion and share your point of your view to possibly help educate those that "obviously have no experience in this realm", you instead choose to slam them instead and act like an ass. Nice....

Hay is that not the same type of tent that fell down and hurt some of the Dallas Cowboys and I think killed someone too. Here in Florida at that time of year a tent that size would be BAAAAD news, it would take off like a Macys Thanksgiving Day balloon.lol. Very cool looking but if I had that kind of money I think I would just buy a steel building.

                    Hey Something,

Good point. I didn't hear about that with the cowboys. Thanks for contributing something valuable to the discussion.

I just thought it was a cool find. People always looking for tents here.

Good point with it blowing away, go metal. Can you think of the fire codes for the tent…
This is what I hope to have soon, looking at land now.

That's just the building. First you have to have the pad made, wire it for electricity, sprinkler system, emergency lighting, bathrooms, and more and more that $97k will turn to 220k real quickly....

That is correct. what the listing is, its for the kit only. you will need to have a company install it but thats better then the run down crap building around here for 3Mil and then needs all that updated. Commercial buildings have not gone down at all.
Look for a nice plot of land and get a building build up to code. Much easier. Well kinda… you know what I mean…
