wife's weekend adventure (UPDATE: GOOD NEWS!!)

Hi folks,

I really struggled with whether to post this or not.
But you folks are my family and I thought it best to
let all of you know.

Some of you might have heard about my
wife's weekend adventure. But just in case; here goes.

Debbie fell on the ice and bumped her head on the stairs
while at her mother's on Sunday.
We took her to the ER to be checked for a concussion.

During a routine examination the ER doctor spotted what looks
to be a pituitary aneurism.

A second test yesterday, a CT scan, proved inconclusive BUT showed
"something".

We've been referred out to a neurosurgeon at Methodist.

At this point I have no idea what's going to be the outcome of all of this.

I'll keep you all posted. We covet your prayers.

Gwendel got us on the prayer chain for Debbie and your family yesterday and we've been holding you up. We're believing for a miracle my friend!

Debbie, Shane and I want to extend our thanks and appreciation for
all you prayers and well wishes during this very scary time.

We went to the specialist in Indianapolis today. He does not believe that Debbie has
an aneurism and does not think that whatever is there is life threatening.
However there *is* something there and he will know more after doing
an MRI on March 5.

Just that much was a huge weight lifted from our shoulders I can tell you!!

I will be at TransWorld as Deb has done everything short of pack my
bags for me. She says that's what the doctor meant by removing stress
from her life for the next two weeks; getting rid of me!!!

Honestly, it was the first time Deb laughed since Sunday when all of this
started.

Again, thanks to you, my haunt family, for everything!!
