Ask yourself what you would think is fair if you were the customer. And consider the time you're inside. 5 minute haunt, I figure $5 unless it's really high end. 10 to 15 minute, $8 to $12 (again, depending on the quality). 20 and up $15 an up. The big factors are length and quality of production, but other factors include small town vs. major metro area? And lots of "wow factor" special effects or just stagnate props? A big cast or just a few high schoolers running around and popping out at you in different places? Students tend to be short on money, and if you charge more than movie admission for something that isn't as entertaining as a movie and is over in less than ten minutes, you're bound to get complaints (or bad word of mouth). On the other hand, if they pay $10 or $15 and expect something small but leave the place out of breath and with squealing in delight (or panic), you know you have just released a valuable walking, talking advertisement.
