  • Ho Ho Ho!

With 10 days til Christmas I thought people would get a kick out of this. We had a freak nor'easter this year but were still able to run in the snow. People loved it but it was a challenge for sure.

    Enjoy,

    Eric

    Eric,

How much snow did you end up with from that storm?

Litchfield received 14 inches, it was brutal!

    Trees going down everywhere.

    Definitely a unique experience.

    Happy Holidays.

          Mike,

We got about a foot of heavy wet snow. We shutdown around 9:30 before it got too insane! It snowed like crazy all night and many trees were down as well as power outages. I had no power at my house for 2 days and many of the actors longer than that. Thank God we had power at the haunt to keep running. Shoveling off the whole trail was horrible the next day! Our tickets say Haunted Overload is an all weather event, I guess we proved that this year, lol! I hope it never happens again though. I'm glad Tim was there to video the event and Artifact Images to get these photos.

          Shane,

My favorite photo didn't make the video, I love this one.

The 36 foot clown stayed up even though an oak tree cracked in half behind it.

Being in Connecticut I can say "unique" is an understatement. Even having had 6" of snow it toppled trees left and right and not having power for 2 WEEKS in some areas was ridiculous. I was happy after 8 days to get power back.

                    I Quit Shoveling

Two years ago. I used to shovel out my backyard maze everytime it snowed. After a few snows I would actually run out of places to put it.
Now I just open a hatch at the tour's conclusion and they at least get to see the backyard and the car and tomb.
We had much snow last winter too, this northwestern part of Illinois gets to buy larger snow plows and the bigger trucks to push them for that reason.
You do have very incredible photos of your already incredible artistic nature's Monsters, you just released them from those trees, limbs...
                    Nice.
They sort of look like a small kid would imagine a tree coming to Monster-Life which makes it appeal to the child still left in many adults, sort of basic stuff and deeply scary... because.. nature is all around us all the time!
                    There's one now!
