These pics are a few weeks old now - we have since painted and applied some effects to the paint for again, etc. I have also started adding in props so I will try and get some pics next week of the latest progress. Looks pretty bare right now but we have lots of props and effects loaded into this place - more to come!

The Table
BTW - The embalming table you see in the pic is a 1950's enbalming table recently removed from service. We acquired this through a rather interesting fella who buys out mortuaries ... just to collect stuff. He's a picker, but he only picks mortuaries. Talk about a dead end job ..... The Plague Progress Continues
Finally got some more pics to show of The Plague. Camp Nightmare construction wont start until September/beginning of October (a fast buildout) but I will make sure to post pictures when that is done.
Here is one of my favorite rooms. Most of the painting is done in here although we are still loading in props and doing wall treatments in all the rooms. This of course is a lights on tour!Attached FilesTravis "Big T" Russell

A few more
This is what I call a "cool down" room. Nothing very frightening, until they get to the other end and have to try and find their way out!. Most of the stuff on the walls came from my Dads family, and my Dads garage (Dad passed in 1986). This stuff has been sitting around my shop for years so great to have it out on display!!Attached FilesTravis "Big T" Russell

Thanks Alan for the paint tips
I am using this for storage at the moment, but we will be building this area as our toxic storage. Thanks to Alan for the great tip on aging the walls with Tandy Leather stain (here is a tip from Big T - wear latex gloves when using this stuff). I added a bit of green tint and than yellow on top of that all applied in layers. Works great.Attached FilesTravis "Big T" Russell

Redecorating?
The wife decided to change the wall hangings in several rooms of the house last year, so I kept all the stuff she took down and repurposed it - with new pictures of course! I added a few old prints from auctions for the "lobby" area, leading to the "parlor." Still a lot of stuff laying around that hasn't been placed yet so excuse the litter.Attached FilesTravis "Big T" Russell
