Give me more info, first you can't project it onto the glass. You need to project it onto a light colored surface that is reflecting on the glass. Let me have a little more idea what you're doing. PM me if you want.

It doesn't seem to me like the 21th century pepper's ghost, I mean, the basic principle is still the same.

Cheap Pepper's Ghost Effect

(1)Place a TV on its back
(2)Connect A DVD player and have something spooky playing
(3)Buy A cheap sheet of plastic (Thicker plastic creates image doubling)
(4)Place it at a 95 degree angle.
(5)Shut the lights off so the room is pitch black
and that's it.

The image will reflect off the plastic and the image will appear like it's floating in the air.

To be technical, the plasma laser is not a Pepper's ghost. All PGs are reflected images. The laser plasma is a projected image. No reflection, no Pepper's ghost. And yes, the idea of 3D laser projected images is pretty cool. Give it a decade for practical applications.

A new generation of anything not necesary implies to use exactly the same technology as the original, the computer screen, for example, it used to be the cathodic ray tube or cinescope, and now there are plasma screens, both technologies are diametrally opposite, one uses a bunch of particles colliding against a phosphor sheet and the other uses fluorescece and UV radiation, but the thing both have in common is the pixels. So there you have it, two completely different technologies binded by a common purpose, name, function and component.
Is pepper's ghost the name of the effect or the method? I mean pepper's ghost is the technique or the illusion? cause you can have many techniques to achieve the same illusion but if the name is for the technique... then it can't be much 'new generations'
