Ran a haunted trail as a fundraiser last year and will do it again this year. Would like to go into business with this. would welcome any advice or suggestion, especially pertaining to legalities, licenses, acquiring property, etc.
The scope of last year's trail:
5-6 acres, staff of 90-100, 13 skit related stations, 8 stand-alone (1-2 actors) stations. We live in a rural area and had over 2000 visitors. Advertised on radio and by flyers and signs. Paid off-duty sheriff's deputies for security (worth every cent).
Our trail location has been donated up to this point. We want to go into business so that we can purchase land and not be restricted by the land-owner. Any guidance you could offer would be appreciated.
