DAMMIT! That guy stole my idea for my haunt video! Even the same song!
I guess I'll have to use my second choice song, "Oh Suzanna!"

If the director of that video is still alive I would like to get a hold of him to direct my haunt video next year. That was definitely the best I've seen so far!

Look at that video it has over ELVEN MILLION VIEWS... people are calling it you got RICKED or something like that. People are saying here is the new Batman trailer, and it will start off with Batman then go into this video.

This is the biggest thing going on the planet right now RICKING everyone.

Anyway brings up an interesting topic because if you could drive 11 million views doing this what else could be done along the same lines...hmmmm.

It could have been worse, it could have been Rap, or R&B......It's called Rick and Roll, the gag.

It's pretty crazy how these things start and how they take on a life of their own. I did hear about this somewhere but don't know the story behind how it got started. It would be awesome to figure out a way to drive that many hits to a haunt video or website.

I heard it started because a character on the tv show The Family Guy sang it on the show and from there it started getting views on youtube and then grew and grew as people used it creatively tricking people....

To my knowledge it started as Youtube's April Fools Joke to the masses. The site featured a video for everyone to see, a basketball game or something; what people got when they clicked the link instead was RICKY.

Now everyone is mimicking the same prank, but with different bait. Crazy fads, crazy fads.

Has anyone heard about the viral marketing they're doing for BATMAN new movie??? This is the new wave of marketing. Has anyone followed this?

I posted the video to start a thread about this new form of viral marketing.

I think we should kick the tires around.
