Okay folks I'm starting a new and fresh thread...
I will post photos on this thread, updates on this thread, and keep you in the loop of anything we change, building, blah, blah on this thread.
Note: There will not be any discussions debated about how much we charge, or anything of that nature. If you do NOT want to come DO NOT COME, if you think we are charging to much DO NOT BUY A TICKET. No debate, no amount of discussion will change anything about what we'll charge or how much it is worth.
The only things we'll discuss is updates about the tour, answer your questions, any questions you want to discuss bring them up here. We will answer all questions but again will not debate the value or cost of the tour.
What is being offered: TOUR OF A TOTALLY UPDATED attractionready for the October 2009 season in March. There are two different events.
1) Lights on Tour the night before the show (Thursday) which would include food, drinks, camera's allowed, and a ticket to come back on Saturday for the live performance. 125.00 per person. (limited to 250 people)
2) Live Show: Saturday of the show. All tickets sold on a timed ticketing program to avoid long lines. Full show with actors. No Camera's allowed on the inside of the attractions.
Website: www.TheDarkness.com
When will tickets on Sale?: Right now we have to make sure 110% positive that we can actually get the attraction complete. NO tickets will go on sale prior to the end of January. We will announce when tickets will go on sale through this website. The website is active and will be updated weekly, simply the ticketing option will not be activated until we are certain on what level we can open.
Darkness Upgrades: The Darkness will undergo a MAJOR renovation costing in excess of $200,000.00. We started working on the attraction in November tearing out scene from 08 that we no longer want. Five new sets will be added to the Darkness, and several sets will be upgraded and updated.
Five new MAJOR scenes will be added starting with a new interactive que line. Are you ready to see what level someone can take a que line and create a pre-show? Well here is your chance because we'll build one of the best in the industry just for this event.
Also on the main level of the Darkness we will add a new mineshaft cave with falling spikes. Another new scene on the first floor will be a new torture chamber complete with a falling head effect that will really be cool!
Lastly on the first floor several existing area's will be upgraded.
On the second floor we are improving several of the scenes for example adding a talking head animation to our art gallery, re-arraging our wine celler, blah, blah, blah. But the new scenes will include a RAT infested cellar, and a MAJOR new scene towards the end of the Darkness a Green House. The Green House will include a custom made Venus Fly Trap, a Plant Monster, and falling plants that attack from the ceiling.
We are not sure if the new attractions inside our new building can be created or not however that is the goal... we have built a new building onto our existing building and i the process added an additional 16,000 square feet.
The plan is to add a second haunted house 'Terror Visions', gift shop and a Monster Museum.
The haunt show is in St. Louis and the website can be reached at www.hauntshow.com.
Now from this post on read about all the happenings inside The Darkness.
