I recall the Zombie Army was racking things up, from Zombies (go figure) to I believe being in a horror novel.
I did end up missing a bunch of the auction. We were waiting for certain items to come up, and basically had hoped items would come up around the timing and order they were on the list, but when the skipping ahead happened, we said forget it, and headed out into the rain and cold to wait in line.sigpic

HHA Auction
I hung around a while for the auction but each item was taking soooo long I finally left. Auctioneer was more interested in hearing himself talk (imagine that ) than effectively auctioning the items. I wanted to wait for the Scarefactory item but figured it would be midnight before that was up for auction.
Next year: quieter area; chairs and better auctioneer.

We got Shanes freddy shoes
Branding package for spooky buttons
Bare bones mini lights from minispotlight.com
Those are the things we won at the auction
I agree about a quieter place and chairs for the auction. The auction should of been held after the show and before a tour. This way more people can attend.

I am glad yall got the shoes! I wanted to bid on several things and I could not hear shit! I don't think the dude that was doing the auction could hear himself! I am afraid that cost the HHA some money no I am sure it did. What was the big Scarefactory item I did not even know that was an item and what did Unit70's piece bring? Shane and its if theres a next time do it at the hotel or on the show floor! Shane this time.sigpic

I picked up the set of 12 foam heads for $70.
I cant remember who they are from now.
I think the Unit70 piece went for around $750 or $800.
Thats all I can remember for right now.

We bid on a bunch but only got the Eco Glow strips $1000 worth for $500.
I think the auction raised approx $11000 for HHA!
Thank you all for bidding and buying, and thank you Larry for letting us have the event at your tour!

I think the auction went very well, but future auctions will see some changes I'm sure. I doubt though we'd have made twice the money under any circumstances, all bidders got great deals and the HHA raised good money, so everyone left happy. As for Rich being the auctioneer, he did a fantastic job and we were glad to have him!
Marc, you cleaned up between you and Spooky Steve you guys were busy!
Thank you guys for coming to the aution and bidding on all the great items.
Also, a very special THANK YOU to all the vendors who dontated so generously and who were all so enthusiastic about the HHA!!!
