Just wanted to let everyone know that AEO Studios has burnt to the ground. They are safe, and are still in production.
RELEASE:
On 31 Aug 2009, at approximately 7:30am, AEO Studios burned to the ground.
The fire is still under investigation, however, it appears it is of an electrical nature. The tragedy here is that Alan and I are overseas, working on bringing the horror at a Hong Kong theme park.
We will be returning to Orlando on 11 Nov 2009, to begin the rebuilding process. Our official statement:
While we were out in Hong Kong, working on bringing more horror to Asia, at Ocean Park’s Halloween Bash, we were sadly notified that our shop, in Orlando, Florida, burned to the ground Monday morning.
Please pass this along to our compatriots in the Haunted Industry, and theatre environs, who are our customers, supporters and friends, past and present.AEO Studios will rebound from this, as we have weathered many things, including economic turnarounds, industry changes, and all that fun stuff. We hope that we will turn around to create a smashing presence in Orlando this coming spring.
From Alan and myself, extend our gratitude for your support, in the past, present and the future. Thank you very much for the outpouring of emails, texts, Facebook postings, and voicemails.
