Hillcrest Orchards is a fourth generation farm located in Amherst, Ohio, that covers 90 acres of prime Ohio farmland. Hillcrest produces pumpkins, peaches, and a wide variety of apples from Mid-July through November. In addition to home grown produce, the Farm Market at Hillcrest Orchards offers a wide selection of fall decorations, baking supplies, and old fashioned snacks and candy. Visitors can also experience for themselves what it is like to pick apples in the orchard during Pick Your Own weekends in September and October, or find that perfect carving pumpkin during weekends in October. Hayrides shuttle visitors to the pumpkin patch and orchard every weekend, and the activity barn is ready to entertain anyone brave enough to journey into the straw tunnel or crate maze. Every year the 7-acre Corn Maze features a new design that promises to provide a fun and educational experience. We have a lot of exciting activities including our 4-Acre Corn Maze, Crate Maze, Straw Tunnel, and much more! Grab your friends to join in on our fun photo opportunities! Whatever you're picking it is sure to be the farm fresh that comes from Hillcrest Orchards! Play Areas Throughout the farm we have fun play areas for kids of all ages. Hide in our Straw Tunnel or find your way through our apple crate maze! Can you make it to the slide at the end? You'll find several awesome photo opportunities across the farm that are great for family scrap books, sharing with family, or sending as holiday cards! Hang out on our playset near the hayride pick-up area. It's an exciting place to play after you're finished picking apples or pumpkins! The 2014 Corn Maze Ahoy! Join us in the "Great Railroad Adventure!" Our maze is sure to corn-fuse you this year with it's twists and turns! It's a rail-riding adventure through our train themed labyrinth. We're sure you can find your way in, but can you find your way out? The Hillcrest Fun Farm Corn Maze Our mind-boggling four-acre maze makes it's return this year with the "Great Railroad Adventure"!
