Corn Maze! Come get lost in our seven acre corn maze! Each year, we create a completely different and unique design to feature as our maze. We'll send you in the maze with a maze that also shows you where our numbered "Fact Signs" are. Find all 30 of our signs and read their themed facts or use them to find your spot in the maze if you get lost! Halfway through our maze, climb up on our wagon observation deck and take a look over the top of the corn at our farm! For those who get lost or just want to do a short version of our maze, we have an emergency exit right next to this observation deck and American flag marker. Hay Rides! Stop by our Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze and take a ride on our Hay Rides! Our wagon will take you on a fifteen minute hay ride through the hay and corn fields of Castle Hill Farm! Upon your ride, you will make a stop in the fields where you will have the opportunity to feed our cows hay, right out of hands! Our tractor driver will also educate you about the cows you're seeing and answer any questions you may have! Come check it out for yourself this fall! Pumpkin Patch! Our four acre pumpkin patch is a great experience for all to pick their own pumpkins, guards, and squash! With our wide selection of pumpkins, you'll be sure to find the perfect one for everyone in your family! Come visit this fall and take a walk through our patch! Tree Farm! Paproski's Tree Farm is located in Newtown, Connecticut on Hattertown Road. Family owned and operated, our Tree Farm offers a wide pre-cut selection of trees or offers you the opportunity to cut your own! We open the weekend after Thanksgiving, November 28th, to all our early birds looking to cut or 'tag' their tree while the family is home for the holiday. We provide you with a tag or a saw upon your visit to the tree farm and offer you assistance in wrapping an tying your tree to your car as you sit by the fire and enjoy our complementary hot apple cider and cookies! Hike our five acres of trees, were you will find Norway Spruce, Douglas Fir, Blue Spruce, White Spruce, and a beautiful 62 acre view. We also offer White Pine, Douglas Fir and Fraser Fir pre-cut trees. Find hand made wreaths, sprays, Cemetery blankets, and boxes made on the premises by the Paproskis. Hours: Monday- Friday 2:00 - 5:00 PM Saturday & Sunday 9:00AM - 5:00PM Night Corn Maze! 2013 kicked off Castle Hill Farm's FIRST season with a night corn maze! Thank you to all those who made it out to the maze! Bring your flashlights as you hike beneath the night sky during October. We're reopening our night maze for the 2014 season to those who are brave enough to walk amongst the cornstalks with nothing but monlight and a flashlight! Entry on Friday and Saturday night from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. The maze remains open during that time frame until the last traveler finds their way out of the maze. Our night maze provides travelers with the opportunity to venture along the trails carved into our seven acre maze design. Our night maze is not haunted, but hiking through may give you a fright in itself. The trails in the corn are dirt trails with some added woodchips to reduce mud along the way. The This nighttime hike through the eight acre field of corn with trails carved in a maze design is not haunted, but certainly a fun adventure for all ages. The Little Chick Club! Castle Hill Farm's Little Cluck Club provides educational opportunities for our youth in agriculture! Provide your family with the educational experience of backyard farming as you collect eggs from your new chicken coops!
