ABOUT "Apple Annie's Orchard "
Cost of the Sensational Pumpkins & Corn Maze Field Trip is $8 per person (including students and parents). Teachers and PAID school staff are FREE !
Each field trip begins with an agricultural lesson before heading out for the other activities. Within the school corn maze there are questions at given turns. Students must answer the question correctly to find their way out of the maze, and the correct answers come from the farming lesson at the beginning of the field trip! The maze is just part of the fun, as each class will also enjoy a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins. Each participant will choose their own pumpkin, selecting from the thousands in varying shapes and sizes in the pumpkin patch! Each participant will take home a pumpkin! Shaded picnic tables and restrooms are available; please allow 1-1/2 hours for the field trip and 30 minutes to1 hour for lunch, shopping and restroom needs. Apple Annie’s pies, apple bread and gourmet foods will be available for sale at the Produce Barn during the field trips; there is also a selection of gifts and toys for the children for purchase.
