The Living Dead Horror Convention was developed in association with the horror lifestyle brand Living Dead, LLC. Conceived by Living Dead creator and owner Deanna Uutela and NW horror writer and sales director James R. Beach, the pair had a desire to bring not only the FIRST all celeb based horror convention to their hometown Portland, OR, but to give fans of all genres of horror and all forms (from film to art and music to literature) the perfect mix of everything they love all rolled into one gore-filled weekend. More than just a film convention, Living Dead Con stays true to the brand's spirit of welcoming and promoting everyone in the horror culture/community from writers to musicians and artists to actors. This is the first of many Living Dead Conventions that will takes place annually in Portland, OR, and right off the bat we are bringing in some of the most obscure and the most sought after appearances, live bands, horror burlesque, oddities, nonstop film screenings, celebrity led workshops, personalized VIP parties, and panels from authors, actors, directors and makeup artists.
