For just $10 a couple, you and your honey can snuggle under the quilts on a lantern-lit hayride, wander through the maze with your flashlights, and sip hot cider while you have a cookie! Ever wondered what the maze is like at night? Come find out! Bring your family for a stroll through the corn maze in the evening! CALL to reserve your appointment! 705-0991 What to bring: Flashlights and warm clothes. What to expect: It will take a little longer to find your way out in the dark, but 35-40 minutes is average. What NOT to expect: We are NOT a spook maze. We won't jump out at you or scare you. The night walks are just for fun.(Besides, walking through a corn maze in the dark is spooky all on it's own!) COST: $2 per person. RULES: No Running, Stay on the Path, No unsupervised Children. (The maze was hard to make, we don't want it ruined) SWORE FARMS PUMPKIN PATCH AND CORN MAZE Test your wits in the educational corn maze, play farm games with treats, get your face painted, see the tractors, and pick out a pumpkin from the 15 acre patch. Concession stand! Sweet Corn Meal: Try our famous Sweet Corn with some spud chips, and drinks--oh, and don't forget all those homemade Fall themed delights! October dates to remember: September 28th Corn Maze opens with CORN FEST! Join our 1st ever corn eating contest with prizes! We'll have several matches just to make it fair and fun. Participants are on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited. The first to finish their cob(s) of corn wins! 2:00pm- tiny tikes division: kids ages 5 and under 2:15pm- Children's division: kids 6-10 2:30pm- Youth division: ages 11-14 2:45pm- Adults! 3:00pm- Teams! This works like a relay race. The second team member cannot start onto their cob of corn until the first team member has finished. The first team to finish all cobs wins. Prizes include a season pass to Swore Farms, Pumpkins, and goodies! It's all in fun. No hecklers or bad sports allowed. Farm games, mazes, face painting, and the wagon to the patch will all be open today as well! Be there to get the first pick of the field! October 5th Fun on the Farm + Spray Art Day! Tractor haywagon rides take you for a ride to the Pumpkin Patch! We'll have extra prizes and treats to celebrate! We'll give an extra piece of candy to anyone who dresses up like a cowboy/farmer. Get your Country groove on! **Bonus!** A local spray paint artist will give mini art lessons and show you or your kids how to make a spray masterpiece for you to take home on quality mat-board that you can frame. These paintings are awesome. Cost: $4 per painting. Have you ever watched a spray artist work? Whole worlds appear in mere minutes! October 12th Pumpkin decorating contest - Paints, googily eyes, string, material... We'll have extra things to decorate available with the pumpkins. Cash prizes for the winners! October 19th Costume Contest with prizes- We'll have a lot of fun walking the catwalk on this one! Cash & pumpkin prizes for the winners! *We will gather all costumed kids to walk the strawbale catwalk at 1pm please be on time as we will not wait for late comers this year. Prizes will be awarded around 2pm! October 26th Super Story time Adventure- Come dressed as your favorite character and listen to the stories! Guess how many Scarecrows we have up to win a pumpkin! This would be a good time to give your costume a trial run! HALLOWEEN DAY: 4pm-8pm (bring flashlights for after dark) No farm fair, just the maze & pumpkins this day, but group discounts apply to everyone! New this year: Tractor Hay rides! Concession stand (We have loads of fun, fall themed goodies in store for you!) Fancy Face Painting (the girls have been practicing) Angry Birds! Ever wanted to toss one of those birds in real life? now's your chance. Little Tikes play area, houses and kitchens. Strollers & Wheelchair: All terrain strollers/wheelchair can make it through the maze fine, but small wheeled strollers may struggle. Also, motorized wheelchair with fat tires navigate far better than fold up, traditional wheelchair. Test your brain against farm trivia questions as you navigate the maze. A correct answer will lead you to another question. A wrong answer will lead you to a dead end. Some of our fun attractions: Face Painting, Tiny Tot straw Maze, String Maze, Blond Maze, Corn Maze, Wheat Pool, Puppet station, Little Tikes toys/kitchens/houses, Face Painting, Ring Toss, Pumpkin Bowling, Bean Toss, Story Time, and more! Try your hand at several farm games and have a bite to eat at our Concession stand before you head over and pick a pumpkin from the patch. Depending on weather, we may have them gathered near the maze so we can shelter them better. (We have to protect them from frost.) Swore Family Pumpkin Patch Pumpkin Patch Hours*: October! We are open for Pumpkins every day from 10am-dark through Halloween! Tractor pulled wagon rides to the patch available for $2 even during our off hours. We have that special pumpkin waiting for you! Pumpkins are 25 cents per lb for Orange pumpkins, & 20 cents per lb for green pumpkins. Little pumpkins are $1 and tiny ones are 5o cents. *Come see us!
