In 1950 the Alexander Community Hospital was built to serve the citizens of Alexander County. The hospital had many services the offered to the citizens of this county which included, but not limited to surgical, radiology, CT Scan, ICU, etc. Around 2007 the hospital closed for good. This year Central Alexander Fire Department has been granted permission to house a haunted attraction in the south wing of the old hospital as a fundraiser for the department. The attraction is called Intensive Scare Unit. During your visit you will encounter the Behavorial Science Study, Nursery, Burn Unit, Electrotherapy, Surgical, Storage, Chapel, Cognitive Research, and much more. We hope to see you all at Intensive Scare.
