The Scream in the Dark Film Festival is an annual presence in Omaha, Nebraska, the Midwest, the Country, and the World. Five friends (Dave Borowiak, Tim Welch, Mikey Taylor, Pat Graves, and Ken Johnson) formed their own Corporation, Scream in the Dark Film Festival, Inc., in January 2014. Their purpose is simple: Bring the biggest, best, and brightest filmmakers together under one roof to showcase the absolute best in Horror, Sci Fi, Thriller, and Fantasy films. All five members of the Board of Directors of this Corporation want to share their love of the Horror genre with everyone that is interested. Scream in the Dark Film Festival, Inc. is in the process of attaining 501(c)(3) status, and guarantees that none of Directors are making even a penny off of their efforts. All funds raised, all donations collected, all efforts given go directly back into the Film Festival. Horror fans want the best, and we want to give them the best. We want to show the best films, work with the best filmmakers, bring in the best guests, all for the fans of Horror, because that's what all 5 of us are, Horror fans.
